2008 - The Canaan Recovery Foundation opened its first recovery home, serving six women in Freeport


2010 - First Thrift Store opened in Freeport


2011 - The second recovery home was opened in Santa Rosa Beach, serving 12 women


2011 - First Thrift Store replaced by second store, located in Miramar Beach


2011 - Transitional Home
in Miramar Beach, 2013-present 1 graduate and her 4 children

Our affordable, long-term program teaches women recovering from addictions how to lead a life filled with self-respect, sincerity, and responsibility.

2014 - Thrift Store relocated to current building in Miramar Beach

2015 - A third home was established in Santa Rosa Beach for 8 women

2016 - Thrift Store location in Destin opened

2016 - The fourth home was added, serving 5 women in Miramar Beach

2017 - The Canaan Recovery Foundation rebranded to program name, Path of Grace

In 2008, The Canaan Recovery Foundation was founded with one recovery home that served six women.

Today, the Foundation has grown into the Path of Grace recovery program with three recovery homes and one transitional home, serving 26 women and 4 children.
